I first came across this stuff in a supermarket in Vermont. It’s made by monks. The boysenberry is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted.

Some people are wine snobs or food snobs; for me, I’m only snobbish about red
raspberry jam. It needs to be the right consistency and have the perfect flavor of fresh
raspberries and the perfect balance of sweetness not too sweet). This jam is so
perfectly wonderful slathered on a croissant, or toast, in the morning. It makes me feel
like I’m waking up to a fine somewhere in Normandy. So why is it so hard to find in
stores?

This is simply the best jelly I have ever tried. I will not use any other jelly since I tried
this. It doesn’t just taste sweet or look pretty… it tastes like raspberry and is delicious on
the world’s best peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
I have tried many popular designer gourmet jellys and they may have a superior look to
their packaging (and then again maybe not) – but I found most to be insipid or just plain
sweet without any other flavor than just plain sweet.

Tried Trappist lemon marmalade several years ago when I found it at Big Lots. Then I
couldn’t find it, so tried several other brands which were terrible. Finally did mail order
from Trappist, and all is right with the world.
